Walked in for a late lunch, about 1:00 and found a weird assortment of stale pizza for the lunch specials. Also we found Aphids in the salad... Which are little bugs... Needless to say we will not be coming back ever for a quick lunch, though I can't speak for their made-to-order stuff.

Updating my review as I came back yesterday for their lunch special. I had a slice of the Tourist pizza and a salad and drink. Pizza slice was good and the salad (lettuce, tomato, cheese, olives) was fresh. They still have customer service issues. First, the kid who took my order yawned quite loudly and didn't even cover his mouth. Dude, get to bed early so you're not so tired! The other workers walked around like zombies and didn't smile. Second, not one of the little parmesan cheese glass shakers were full. I'm serious. I even looked at the tables and couldn't find a single one with cheese. And third, the tables were dirty... people left and no one came to clean up. Not good during the lunch hour. My rating improved but not by much. They still have some work to do.

We bought the 49er and the embarcadero pizzas. They were pretty good. The restaurant had a fun decor but felt dead. Not much life to this place'. Worth trying out though. I should have added some tomato to my pizza.

Reading the reviews about this place had me shocked after I finally ate here. I was really impressed with the variety of the pizzas that the had and this was the first time that i have ever eaten a pizza on sourdough bread. It was quite fantastic. If your in the area I would give them a try. Friendly staff and also big space inside. Bring everyone!

Every time I make it in, I get great service, fresh and delicious food. The pizza is AH-MAH-ZING

You have two options for top-notch pizza: PizzaPieCafe and this spectacle near Barnes and Noble. I was lying when I said "spectacle". There was nobody else there, so our order was relatively quick. We ordered two little pepperoni pizzas (probably 49er) and a Cable Car. Both were amazing. I stated, "We should have been coming here all along."

In town for work and called for a pizza. I was put on hold for almost 10 minutes. Finally hung up and called back......... No answer. Ended up ordering from The Pie.

It was so nice to have a gluten free pizza! My husband got a regular meat pizza and tried my Hawaiian gluten free pizza and liked mine better. I tried to get a personal gf pizza but it only comes in regular size. My husband got the salad bar, it was a ripoff, they don't have much of a salad bar, not much to choose from. All in all it was really a treat.

This review was for sometime in late 2011 Worst service ever! I was on a lunch break and as lunch breaks are I decided to grab a quick meal to go. There was no one in line and it didn't seem like the guy working was doing anything but taking down a quick order, so I patiently waited. 1. The guy behind the counter didn't acknowledge me for almost 15 minutes! Even when I politely tried to get his attention, he was still on the phone! (it turns out it was a personal call for classified ad!) after he finally took our order, we waited another 15 minutes ( again, on a 30 lunch break at work) to finally receive our food. The person helping me clearly did not care about anything. I know, I'm venting, but I mean come on! As someone who used to work in the food industry, that is by far the worst experience ever. Hopefully by now this has been taken care of. Food wise, didn't complain, but wouldn't be surprised if out of his carelessness to the world, if there might had been something in my food that wasn't on the menu. I'm not saying there was, but it could had been a possibility. I guess I am implying, eat at your own risk at lunch if the guy behind the counter just does not care.

Great food. But that is where it ends. The guy taking orders very obviously hates his job and has no customer service skills. Tables are crusted with food. Men's restroom is out of order and was told to use the ladies room. It's pretty bad that I had to write this from inside the restaurant.

I purchased a gluten free pizza here last weekend when I was desperate for something that was gluten free while we stayed in Murray. There was one size option but you could choose any of the pizza toppings. I went with safe pineapple and ham. I had the pizza delivered and sort of offended when they told me it would be $20, plus whatever tip I wanted to give. I was even more offended when I opened the pizza box and my pizza was TINY. I'm used to paying higher prices for gluten free alternatives but $20 is just a little much for me. The pizza itself was alright but not worth $20!

We stopped here because we were from out of town, starving and just wanted something quickly. There were only 4 people in the restaurant at 6:30pm on a Wed night - it should have been a sign. The guy at the counter was pleasant enough, he was't real good at answering questions but he did take our order quickly. We ordered a large Caesar salad & large peperoni & olive pizza. He brought out the salad - a large bowl of croutons with some lettuce and shredded parmesan cheese. Dressing was on the side. He informed us that they were "a little low on lettuce" so they gave us an extra piece of garlic toast. ummmmm, okay? The pizza was hot, fresh and the peperoni was good. The crust was HUGE, very doughy, but I guess that's their specialty - Sourdough crust in homage to San Francisco. I've been to Frisco (I'm from SoCal) - the pizza is better there. Finally - it gave my husband major heartburn - like through the next day. We think it was the sauce. Go, but take your Tums with you.

I have been here a few times now. Its close to home & convenient. I call ahead for pick-up & its no muss no fuss. I absolutely am addicted to the "garlic festival" pizza and I have them add shrimp! Sooooo yummy!!! One star deduction for the employees. They clearly would rather be anywhere else than there. Customer service & a smile are lacking but its a pizza joint, I go for the tasty pizza not the entertainment!

Worst place they are ran by a bunch of teenagers who just talk instead of helping. They forgot to make bread for the subs and the pizza taste like it was from yesterday. What ever happened to customer service this is my first bad review on a restaurant I have ever giving because they just don't care. My son choose the place on a special occasion and they couldn't even give us our cups we had to ask for them twice and was given the third degree! Owner needs hire better help as I paid $28 for 2 kids meals and 3 slices so he can afford it.

Really the pizza was fine. It's hard to mess up pizza. My lowish rating has to do with price. The pizza we got would have been $22. Luckily we got it for half off because of a coupon bought through city deals. Still, we could have gone accross the street to Costco and gotten a slightly larger pizza--same quality for $1 less.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century.
